Viral has developed a specialism in gaining planning permissions for contemporary additions to period properties in Central London. This theme of weaving new modern spaces into historic neoclassical, Georgian or Victorian buildings has been recurrent in the work of VSA.

Viral Sheth is currently guest critic and design tutor at The University of Liverpool School of Architecture, where he is often inspired by his students and vice versa.
